ARYABHATT (476 CE) 

MASTER ASTRONOMER AND MATHEMATICIAN 

Born in 476 CE in Kusumpur ( Bihar ), Aryabhatt's intellectual brilliance remapped the boundaries of mathematics and astronomy. In 499 CE, at the age of 23, he wrote a text on astronomy and an unparallel treatise on mathematics called "Aryabhatiyam." He formulated the process of calculating the motion of planets and the time of eclipses. Aryabhatt was the first to proclaim that the earth is round, it rotates on its axis, orbits the sun and is suspended in space - 1000 years before Copernicus published his heliocentric theory. He is also acknowledged for calculating p (Pi) to four decimal places: 3.1416 and the sine table in trigonometry. Centuries later, in 825 CE, the Arab mathematician, Mohammed Ibna Musa credited the value of Pi to the Indians, "This value has been given by the Hindus." Telangana elections, TRS sweeps, and what’s next?

Telangana by-elections almost got swept by TRS. Out of 11 constituencies, TRS has now won 7 segments and are all set to wrap up another three constituencies. BJP is managed to give a shock to PCC Chief D. Srinivas by winning the Nizamabad urban constituency. Everything went perfect for TRS and now this achievement has made them much more stronger than before.

The credit

All the credit here goes to Telangana people. Today they have voted for separate Telangana, not TRS or BJP. Telangana people wanted to speak their mind, and they have made most out of Telangana by-elections. Now Telangana people gave a jolt to Congress and even TDP. Not just making win, but People of Telangana has given TRS candidates a whopping majority.

TRS chief KCR should be appreciated for keeping cool and resurrecting the party despite difficulties. TRS cadre and leaders worked united leaving all the issues and ego beside.

Where Congress lost it?

Congress is never in the hunt. They expected they can pull off some TRS seats under their belts. It didn’t work at all! They didn’t win single seat. Expect DS no has managed to give a respectable fight to the opponent.

Congress thought it can win some seats just like they did in previous by-elections. Congress tried their luck in these elections, but unfortunately for them nothing worked well for them.

Where is Chandra Babu Naidu?

Chandrababu Naidu’s “Epic Fail Yatra” couldn’t do much in these by-elections. Chandrababu Naidu came up with an excellent political move at a critical period, but his political cleverness has been outsmarted by Telangana people completely! TDP remained as sore loser in 2010 Telangana by-elections, and it’s not even able to put up a fight.

He must be feeling happy watching these results! He anticipated Pratyeka Telangana long back and he nicely made a political migration to Andhra state before anyone does. Earlier everyone criticized Chiranjeevi for his ‘immature actions’ towards Telangana issue, but going by the scenario, he might correct!

Future of Telangana issue?

Telangana people have answered Sri Krishna committee in the best possible way they can. We have to wait and see what Sri Krishna committee will decide regarding Pratyeka Telangana.

If at all Sri Krishna Committee votes for United Andhra Pradesh, TRS is all pumped up now, and this helps a lot for their future ‘action’ plans

First Indian web browser 'Epic'

Bangalore: Indians have a new cause to celebrate with the launch of the first Indian made web browser aptly called 'Epic'. Released by a Bangalore-based software firm, Hidden Reflex, Epic is based on the Mozilla platform. 

The unique feature that sets Epic apart from other browsers is that it has a built-in antivirus protection. The integrated antivirus and antispyware has been powered by ESET. 

The web browser can be customized as per the user's desire. You can change the background and themes according to your preference. And there are over 1,500 free themes to choose from. The browser's has a number of apps in its sidebar like Twitter, Facebook, Orkut etc. You can directly launch them from the sidebar. 

The Epic is highly Indian in its look and feel. The 'Indic' app in the browser lets you type in 12 Indian languages. 

The browser makers claim maximum privacy by giving features such as one-click private data deletion, flash cookie deletion built-in and no storage of browsing history. Faster downloads and browsing are some of the other claims made by the Epic developers. So what are you waiting for? Go check and experience it for yourself. Pakistan tops in sex searches

 Pakistan may well be named 'Pornistan' after search trends thrown by Google indicate that it is the world leader in porn searches. 

Pakistan -- the land of the pure -- where websites get banned for showing offensive and blasphemous material at the drop of the hat, has been ranked as the top country for searching sex-related terms, according to a Fox News report. 

"So here's the irony: Google ranks Pakistan No. 1 in the world in searches for pornographic terms, outranking every other country in the world in searches per person for certain sex-related content," the report reads. 

"Pakistan is top dog in searches per-person for 'horse sex' since 2004, 'donkey sex' since 2007, 'rape pictures' between 2004 and 2009, 'rape sex' since 2004, 'child sex' between 2004 and 2007 and since 2009, 'animal sex' since 2004 and 'dog sex' since 2005, according to Google Trends and Google Insights, features of Google that generate data based on popular search terms." 

The country also tops -- or has been No.1 -- in searches for "sex," "camel sex," "rape video," "child sex video" and some other unprintable searches. 

Google Trends generates data of popular search terms in geographic locations during specific time frames. 

Google Insights is a more advanced version that allows users to filter a search to geographic locations, time frames and the nature of a search, including web, images, products and news. 

Pakistan ranked No. 1 in all the searches listed above on Google Trends, but on only some of them in Google Insights. 

"We do our best to provide accurate data and to provide insights into broad search patterns, but the results for a given query may contain inaccuracies due to data sampling issues, approximations, or incomplete data for the terms entered," Google said in a statement, when asked about the accuracy of its reports. 

The Embassy of Islamic Republic of Pakistan did not reply to a request for an interview, the report read. 

In addition to banning content on 17 websites, including islamexposed.blogspot.com, Pakistan is monitoring seven other sites -- Google, Yahoo, Bing, YouTube, Amazon, MSN and Hotmail -- for anti-Islamic content. 

Pakistan temporarily banned Facebook in May when Muslim groups protested the 'Everybody Draw Muhammad Day' page. 

The country's punishment for those charged with blasphemy is execution, but the question remains what -- if anything -- can be done about people who search for porn on the web.
