ARYABHATT (476 CE) 

MASTER ASTRONOMER AND MATHEMATICIAN 

Born in 476 CE in Kusumpur ( Bihar ), Aryabhatt's intellectual brilliance remapped the boundaries of mathematics and astronomy. In 499 CE, at the age of 23, he wrote a text on astronomy and an unparallel treatise on mathematics called "Aryabhatiyam." He formulated the process of calculating the motion of planets and the time of eclipses. Aryabhatt was the first to proclaim that the earth is round, it rotates on its axis, orbits the sun and is suspended in space - 1000 years before Copernicus published his heliocentric theory. He is also acknowledged for calculating p (Pi) to four decimal places: 3.1416 and the sine table in trigonometry. Centuries later, in 825 CE, the Arab mathematician, Mohammed Ibna Musa credited the value of Pi to the Indians, "This value has been given by the Hindus." Telangana elections, TRS sweeps, and what’s next?

Telangana by-elections almost got swept by TRS. Out of 11 constituencies, TRS has now won 7 segments and are all set to wrap up another three constituencies. BJP is managed to give a shock to PCC Chief D. Srinivas by winning the Nizamabad urban constituency. Everything went perfect for TRS and now this achievement has made them much more stronger than before.

The credit

All the credit here goes to Telangana people. Today they have voted for separate Telangana, not TRS or BJP. Telangana people wanted to speak their mind, and they have made most out of Telangana by-elections. Now Telangana people gave a jolt to Congress and even TDP. Not just making win, but People of Telangana has given TRS candidates a whopping majority.

TRS chief KCR should be appreciated for keeping cool and resurrecting the party despite difficulties. TRS cadre and leaders worked united leaving all the issues and ego beside.

Where Congress lost it?

Congress is never in the hunt. They expected they can pull off some TRS seats under their belts. It didn’t work at all! They didn’t win single seat. Expect DS no has managed to give a respectable fight to the opponent.

Congress thought it can win some seats just like they did in previous by-elections. Congress tried their luck in these elections, but unfortunately for them nothing worked well for them.

Where is Chandra Babu Naidu?

Chandrababu Naidu’s “Epic Fail Yatra” couldn’t do much in these by-elections. Chandrababu Naidu came up with an excellent political move at a critical period, but his political cleverness has been outsmarted by Telangana people completely! TDP remained as sore loser in 2010 Telangana by-elections, and it’s not even able to put up a fight.

PRP and Chiranjeevi

He must be feeling happy watching these results! He anticipated Pratyeka Telangana long back and he nicely made a political migration to Andhra state before anyone does. Earlier everyone criticized Chiranjeevi for his ‘immature actions’ towards Telangana issue, but going by the scenario, he might correct!

Future of Telangana issue?

Telangana people have answered Sri Krishna committee in the best possible way they can. We have to wait and see what Sri Krishna committee will decide regarding Pratyeka Telangana.

If at all Sri Krishna Committee votes for United Andhra Pradesh, TRS is all pumped up now, and this helps a lot for their future ‘action’ plans
